Seizure of DIESEL shoes
Our investigations into the importation of Diesel shoes into Thailand resulted, on 3 December, 2004, in the Department of Special Investigation - DSI – conducting a raid against a warehouse in Bangkok.
The raid led to the confiscation of 148,000 pairs of DIESEL shoes and the arrest of nine counterfeiters of Chinese nationality. We then lodged a criminal complaint for trade mark infringement against those responsible for the warehouse. The case was reported in local Thai speaking newspapers.
