Rouse Legal (Vietnam branch)
Rouse Legal was set up in Vietnam in 2007, with branches in HCMC and Hanoi.  Rouse had operated in Vietnam (through its associated local firms) since 1998, but a change in the laws allowed us to open branches of our UK law firm. Rouse Legal in Vietnam now has a complement of 30 staff, handling all aspects of IP including filing and protection, enforcement, and all aspects of commercial work. We also help to set up IP strategies and programmes in Vietnam and around Indochina. Our Vietnam offices also manage work in Cambodia and Laos.

The founding partner of the firm, Gunawan Suryomurcito, is a Rouse Executive, and one of Indonesia's pre-eminent IP experts. He is also President of the Indonesian Intellectual Property Society.
