Job summary:
The position will handle a wide range of international contentious and non-contentious trade mark matters such as:
Conduct preliminary trademark searches, review and draft search reports to clients;
Respond to Office Actions and Oppositions from the Indonesian Trademark Office and advise clients for possible infringement, including clearance searches of trade mark;
Review and coordination of trademark documents, including preparing trademark applications, reporting and responding to office actions, oppositions to third-party trademark applications, rebuttals to trademark oppositions;
Maintain internal trade marks databases.
Requirements:
has a Law Degree; preferably qualified as an IP Consultant;
at least 3 years relevant IP experience gained in sizable firm;
fluent in both written and spoken English;
mature, stable and independent;
good interpersonal skill, cross-cultural sensitivity and management skills.

Job summary:
The ideal candidate should have 6-10 years post qualification experience gained from a reputable intellectual property practice. He or she will be experienced in conducting trade mark searches, reviewing search results and drafting search reports to clients; drafting office action reports to clients and maintaining internal trade marks databases. Experience in regional and global trade mark prosecution, portfolio management, global searching and contentious registry work is preferred. The ideal candidate will also have some experience in copyright and designs. Some experience in managing enforcement programs and litigation experience would be an advantage. The successful candidate will be part of a growing, fun and dynamic team and will also have exposure to a wide range of other contentious and non-contentious IP matters.
