Double win for Rouse at Managing IP Global Awards

International IP consultancy Rouse won both China Foreign IP Firm of the Year and Indonesia IP Firm of the Year at Managing IP's 4th Global Awards ceremony, held at the Dorchester hotel in London last night.

Rouse China was shortlisted against Baker & McKenzie, Bird & Bird, Deacons and last year's winner Lovells.  Rouse has had a presence in China since 1993 with offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, providing the full range of IP services, including patent and trade mark agency services. Rouse Indonesia is regularly recognised as a leader in IP for the region along with Suryomurcito & Co., its affiliated law firm.

Luke Minford, China Country Manager, said:
"We are delighted to have won this award especially after we were shortlisted last year. This demonstrates our dedication to IP services in China today, and for the last 15 years."

Brett McGuire, Indonesia Country Manager, said today:
"It is always a pleasure to be recognised in this way for the work that we do."

The Managing IP Global Awards are an annual event held in London. The awards honour law firms across more than 40 jurisdictions in Europe, Asia and Latin America. Winning firms are chosen from shortlists made during the firm's annual survey of the world's leading patent and trademark practices. Rouse's affiliated firm in Beijing, Lusheng Law Firm, won Asian Copyright Case of the Year in the 2008 Awards, for IFPI v. Yahoo! China.
