For many years we have valued being, not just good members of the intellectual property community, but supportive members of our local communities. Rouse Cares brings together and guides our community initiatives and related activities. We aspire to take a broad global approach with a strong local focus by seeking to make a difference in the countries in which we operate (China, Hong Kong, India [associated office], Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and Vietnam) and in the wider regions (such as other countries in Asia and the Middle East).

Rouse Cares aims to help improve the lives of others through sustainable initiatives and by growing roots in each country where we work. The support ranges from providing legal support on a pro bono basis, supporting charitable institutions and working directly with community organisations.
The programme also provides a valuable opportunity for the personal and professional development of staff with opportunities to participate in community and charity based initiatives and for us to support our staff in their efforts. 
We seek to reduce the impact our activities have on the environment with the assistance of our Rouse Cares team.  We review all our activities and have policies in place for such things as energy use, recycling, travel, inter-office communication  We also apply these principles to our procurement practices across the business.
