Rouse Home to Two Top IP Strategists
Rouse is proud to congratulate China Country Manager Luke Minford and United Kingdom Head of Technology Ben Goodger for being named by IAM Magazine as Top Intellectual Property (IP) Strategists. The accolade is a result of both Luke and Ben's commitment to the IP industry and experience in advising companies on a wide range of IP issues. It is also an affirmation of the world-class service Rouse provides to clients to develop and implement IP strategy and maximise a company's IP portfolio.
Luke has a wide range of experience dealing with IP protection and enforcement in China, including IP portfolio management on behalf of a number of multi-national brand owners, establishing and managing coalitions of brand owners, and advising on a number of IP and non-IP related commercial issues in relation to foreign direct and indirect investment in China.
Ben is experienced in giving hi-tech advice (biotechnology, technology transfer, patents), trade mark protection/brand management advice (with particular emphasis on the food and drink industries), and advice on computers and internet-related law. He has, for many years, given strategic advice to companies on the most effective and lucrative ways of managing their IP.
Rouse CEO Rupert Ross-Macdonald said of the award: "Luke and Ben are longstanding members of the Rouse team who can always be relied on to come up with imaginative and innovative ways of achieving results. This award recognises their sterling efforts in helping clients to get the most out of their IP".
The survey by IAM Magazine identifies the top 250 IP strategists in the world as a result of five months extensive research. The research involved face-to-face interviews, as well as email exchanges, with several hundred members of the IP profession from across the world. To qualify for the listing in the IAM 250, individuals had to be nominated by at least three people who work in organisations unrelated to that of the potential nominee.
Congratulations Ben and Luke!
