Professional Experience
Sharon is a Senior Associate in our Beijing office and has comprehensive expertise in IP litigation and enforcement. Sharon obtained an intellectual property (IP) Ph.D in Germany.
Sharon has been engaged in the practice of law for over ten years. She has comprehensive expertise in IP litigation and enforcement, particularly in the domain of patents, trade marks, copyright and unfair competition. Sharon has acted successfully in a range of complex and leading IP cases, including the landmark copyright case involving illegal music downloading, and the Peter Rabbit case, which is known as the first trade mark case regarding declaration of non-infringement in China.

Sharon worked as a university teacher prior to her experience in Germany. She was a Fellow at Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Patent, Copyright and Competition Law in Munich. She is the author of 'Comparison of the Chinese Unfair Competition Law with German law', and has been published in a variety of publications regarding IP issues both domestically and abroad.
 
Awarded for being a 'Top Copyright Practitioner' by the Beijing Copyright Office, 2009.
