Protection
All of our offices provide a comprehensive range of Intellectual Property registration and portfolio management services.
Patents
From our offices in Europe, China and South East Asia we file patent and design right applications. In other jurisdictions (US and Japan) where we are able to add value we will assist with, and coordinate, patent prosecutions and oppositions.
Trade marks
We provide a full trade mark clearance, advisory and filing service as well as a complete portfolio management service. All applications and registrations are logged and managed through WebTMS from IPPO a state of the art client management system.
Design
We are experienced in all aspects of design law, both in Europe and elsewhere. Our filing department provides international clearance and strategy development services, files and prosecutes design applications and manages registration portfolios. Our lawyers regularly advise clients, particularly international retailing clients, in relation to both their proposed designs and third party rights.
Domain names
We offer a comprehensive domain name service including worldwide domain name registration, domain name surveillance and recovery, portfolio management and dispute resolution.
We are heavily involved in the protection of domain names for our clients. Two of our specialists act as ICANN arbitrators, which gives them a particular insight into this fast developing field.
We undertake and arrange registration of both generic top-level domain names (including .com; .org; .net; .info; .biz) and country level domain names.
Copyright
We provide the full range of registration services in those juristictions that provide for copyright registration.
Enforcement & Mediation
We are committed to helping our clients resolve disputes in the most appropriate manner. Sometimes that will be by business to business meetings; sometimes by litigation in the Courts; and sometimes by mediation or other forms of alternative dispute resolution.
Where litigation in the Courts is the preferred option, or is inevitable, we have a proven track record. Our lawyers have acted in many of the leading reported Intellectual Property cases. We do, however, always try to help our clients find other solutions. In recent years, we have made a significant commitment to the mediation process, with several of our partners and senior lawyers formally qualifying as mediators.

Investigation
Our early experience in the development and management of anti-counterfeit programmes, particularly in difficult jurisdictions, led us to appreciate the essential role played by reliable information and investigation services. We established a specialist in-house Intellectual Property investigation capability very early on and we now have a global network of experienced specialist Intellectual Property information services who work together to track counterfeit product to source often across several countries. They are also regularly involved in domain name recovery and other forms of commercial Intellectual Property
